RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All entries must be photos taken in Stone County.
- All photos must be submitted in digital format, no larger than 5MB. Only digital uploads (no hard-copy prints) will be accepted.
- Click here for entry form.
- Photos should be in color, and their elements may not be digitally altered.
- Contestants may enter as many photos as he or she wishes; however, please submit only one photo per subject during each phase of the contest (i.e., if you take dozens of shots of the sunset at Flint Creek, please submit only one of them).
- All photos submitted, regardless of whether they win any awards, become the sole property of SCEDP, who may publish and distribute in any way it wishes.
- Winners will be judged by MadGENIUS, Inc. of Ridgeland, Miss., and the decisions of the judging panel will be final.
- Three winners will be selected from each phase of the contest as follows:
- First Prize, $100
- Second Prize, $50
- Honorable Mention, chance to be judged for overall prize to be given at the end of the contest.
- Deadlines:
- Phase I: Submissions due Oct. 10, 2008; Judging by Nov. 15, 2008
- Phase II: Submissions due Feb. 10, 2009; Judging by March 15, 28, 2009
- Phase III: Submissions due June 10, 2009; Judging by July 15, 2009
- Overall prize to be judged and awarded by July 30, 2009.
- OVERALL GRAND PRZE: $500
