Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Workforce Training Division

Beyond its regular college programs, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College offers customized training for business and industry in Stone County through Workforce Development. Computer applications, industrial, hospitality, supervisory and hazardous-materials training are just a few examples of the programs developed for specific employers. MGCCC's mobile training unit will come to a business or industry for on-site computer training.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Alliance for Economic Development is an independent regional economic development partnership that serves Stone County and the five other Mississippi counties nearest the Gulf of Mexico – George, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson and Pearl River. It serves as a resource for those considering relocating or expanding to these areas.

Mississippi Power Co. provides economic development services for Stone County and the 22 other counties of southeast Mississippi. Economic Development has been a primary focus of Mississippi Power since 1925. Its professional staff, in partnership with the Stone County Economic Development Partnership and other state and local organizations, can find the perfect site or building for your business expansion or relocation.
