Comprehensive Landscape Plan

• Coordinate development and implementation of 5 year plan for landscape and beautification for City and County
• Build GO GREEN Program with Wal-Mart and support other efforts to encourage conservation and natural resource protections.

Comprehensive Land Use Code

• Engage in activities to support the development of a county comprehensive development plan and encourage participation in community meetings

Expand Capacity of Water/Sewer Services

• Participate with the Stone County Utility Authority, City and County to increase water/sewer infrastructure throughout the City and County in an effort to support economic development and business.
• Work to secure physical infrastructure for industrial areas

Impact of Proposed Roads

• Continue efforts, through the SR 601 Committee, to communicate progress and support for the development of this limited access highway for a positive impact on Stone County.
• Host semi-annual meetings with MDOT to enhance the sharing of planning and needs between the community and MDOT.
