WIGGINS, Mississippi, November 28, 2007 – Governor Haley Barbour signs $10,000 Grant to Stone County Economic Development Partnership
On the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) Marketing Match Grant Committee’s recommendation, the Governor has agreed to fund Stone County Economic Development Partnership (SCEDP) Industrial Recruitment Marketing Materials and Support, GF-08-393. The grant award is $10,000.00.
“These necessary funds give us the opportunity to create polished industrial recruitment collateral.” stated SCEDP Executive Director, Charlotte Koestler. “Besides printed materials, these funds will also be used to enhance the SCEDP economic development portion of the website.” Koestler added.
The Stone County Economic Development Partnership is a non-profit entity formed to promote economic development in Stone County; to develop, promote and expand existing businesses and industries in Stone County; to promote tourism and to support the development of infrastructure and services to accommodate a growing economy and community.
